A Lively Christmas Lunch

Everyone seemed to be smiling at our Christmas lunch, as you can see in the photos. With over 60 attendees, a very festively decorated room, and a particularly delicious turkey dinner, it was no wonder! We were delighted that Norwegian Ambassador Hanne Ulrichsen and Ms. Julia Peho, First Secretary for Economic Affairs of the Finnish Embassy (on behalf of Ambassador Hanna- Leena Korteniemi) accepted our invitation to attend as our guests of honour. And we’re always pleased when Jan Terje Storaas, Senior Advisor, Culture and Public Affairs at the Norwegian Embassy joins us for our festivities! Mirja Kapsalis and Margit Viia-Maiste sang two lovely Finnish Christmas songs, and Margit accompanied us on piano for our annual Nordic singalong. It seems to be getting increasingly popular every year, with more people joining in the singing. And Raija Hilska’s Christmas quiz was a big hit again this year!
