DISTINGUISHED SPEAKER SERIES
The Canadian Nordic Society is continuing its activities in modified format during the coronavirus health crisis. Our Society’s Distinguished Speaker Series continues uninterrupted, in an online form. Paid-up members may participate by sending an email to secretary@canadiannordicsociety.com in advance of each event, which will be announced in our CNS-announce subscription email service and listed here.

Free for members. When in-person events are held, members of the public are welcome to attend the Distinguished Speaker Series for a $5 admission fee.
Parking
Some parking is available at the Mess in the evenings. Parking is also available on neighbourhood streets and lots. 24-hour parking is available a short walk away at Ottawa City Hall on Laurier Avenue. The Lisgar Street pedestrian exit is the closest to the Mess.
Dress code for in-person events
Men: Sports jacket and trousers with a shirt and tie or turtleneck. Jeans are not permitted.
Women: Dressy blouse or sweater and dress slacks or skirt, or a dress. Jeans are not permitted.
Ideas and suggestions for speakers and events are welcome. Please contact any member of the Council.
