CNS SPEAKER SERIES

Each event will be announced in our CNS-announce subscription email service and listed here. Some events will be online only. The Zoom link will be sent out in advance via CNS-announce.

Check each event announcement. Some events are held via Zoom. In-person events are usually held at the Army Officers' Mess, 149 Somerset Street West, Ottawa.

Admission

Free for members. When in-person events are held, members of the public are welcome to attend the CNS Speaker Series for a $5 admission fee.

 

Parking at Army Officers' Mess

Some parking is available at the Army Officers' Mess in the evenings. Parking is also available on neighbourhood streets and lots. 24-hour parking is available a short walk away at Ottawa City Hall on Laurier Avenue. The Lisgar Street pedestrian exit is the closest to the Mess.

 

Dress code for in-person events at the Army Officers' Mess

Men: Sports jacket and trousers with a shirt and tie or turtleneck. Jeans are not permitted.

Women: Dressy blouse or sweater and dress slacks or skirt, or a dress. Jeans are not permitted.

Ideas and suggestions for speakers and events are welcome. Please contact any member of the Council.
