Members of the Canadian Nordic Society normally meet once a month, usually on the first Monday, to socialize. You will hear a mix of English and various Nordic languages and lots of interesting conversation. We wear name tags because it is a different mix every time, and this helps us to get to know each other.

The next lunch will be on Monday, February 3 at the Warrant Officers' and Sergeants' Mess, 4 Queen Elizabeth Driveway (at Lisgar), Ottawa.

Time

12:00 noon, but you are encouraged to arrive a little early to purchase your ticket and have a chat, and maybe a drink if you wish!

Admission

Lunch at the Warrant Officers' and Sergeants' Mess is cafeteria style, and paid for on the spot.

Location

Usually Army Officers' Mess, 149 Somerset Street West, Ottawa, but the Mess will be closed for renovations starting in November, 2024. Please see schedule below for alternate locations

Attire

Jeans or athletic attire may not be worn at the Mess. In summer, men may wear shirts with collars (such as golf shirts) and trousers.
