CNS Council member Raija Hilska was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of the Finnish Lion on behalf of the President of Finland on May 4 this year. A founding member of OSKU, the Finnish School of Ottawa, she was awarded the honour for her continuous efforts and contributions to ensure the Finnish language and culture are present here in Ottawa. We are so pleased to have Raija on our CNS Council and extend our heartfelt congratulations to her on this well-deserved recognition.
