The April 4 Senators game against the Detroit Red Wings was cheered on by an enthusiastic group of 83 Nordic types. Everyone had a good time and all went home after a Senators 2 - 0 victory sporting new Senators scarves and ready to find the nearest McDonalds to use their complimentary coupons! Many thanks to Trygve Ringereide and Tim Mark for organizing this fun event! Trygve donated the 17 extra McDonalds coupons to the Ottawa Food Bank on behalf of the CNS. An NHL Nordic quiz was held at our April speaking event and a few leftover scarves were handed out to the lucky people who knew the answers to Hanne Sjøborg’s questions about Nordic players in the NHL.
